Bio
Professor Ziska Fields is an Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She is passionate about developing entrepreneurial skills in students and to support them to start their own ventures. She taught the following Postgraduate entrepreneurship modules: The enterprise environment (MGNT608), Contemporary issues in entrepreneurship (MGNT611) and Elements of Entrepreneurship (FBIM619; MARK6NO; MGNT612). She also taught the following Honours entrepreneurship modules: Entrepreneurship and economic development (ENTR7AO), Entrepreneurship, innovation and venture creation (ENTR7BO) and Entrepreneurship and small business development (ENTR2CO). Her research interests focus on creativity and innovation specifically in tertiary education, business environments, entrepreneurship and research. She also developed two theoretical models to measure creativity in South Africa, focusing on the youth and tertiary education specifically. She has published in international recognised journals such as the Journal of Social Sciences. Recent publications have looked at measuring creativity in various contexts. Professor Fields is also a member of the South African Institute of Management (SAIM).

Bio

Nigel Chiweshe is lecturer in the discipline of Management and Entrepreneurship on the Pietermaritzburg Campus.He currently a holder of a Masters of Arts in Marketing, at the latter stages of completing a Masters in Education and intend on pursuing a Doctorate of Commerce in Marketing in the third quarter of 2014. He also lecture Management at the first year level, Technology Management at the third year level and Entrepreneurship Innovation and Venture Creation at the Honours level. Through my engagement with the discipline of entrepreneurship.Mr Nigel has developed a keen interest on the mind-set of local entrepreneurs and social responsibility of small ventures.He involved in a community project to assist a budding entrepreneur determine their market potential for their venture.He also offer eZone assistance in looking at marketing strategies of small business ventures and offering guidance on social responsibility.

Bio:
Lindiwe Kunene is an academic at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from UKZN and is currently reading for her PhD. She is within the Discipline of Management and Entrepreneurship where she lectures and does research in Small, Medium, Micro Enterprises (SMMEs). Her research mostly concentrates on branding models suitable to the South African environment this includes Development Economics and Entrepreneurship; Social Entrepreneurship and the Development of creative industries. She serves on the Board and is Chair of RemCo & Finance for KUMISA, an NGO on economic development of the music industry in KZN. She also serves on the Board of the P.E.A.C.E Foundation Trust an NGO that promotes Rural Economic Development and Elephants, Rhinos and People programmes. She is in UKZN’s Discovery Medical Aid Scheme Board
